Course Etiquette
PACE OF PLAY
Our goal at Sahalee is to play 18 holes of Golf in a maximum time of 4 hours and 10 minutes.
The first group of the day sets the pace of play for the rest of the field. It should take no more than
2 hours and 5 minutes per 9 holes - 4 hours and 10 minutes total
. Thereafter, each group must keep up with the group ahead and not worry about the group behind. If you run into trouble (i.e. a lost ball), please let the group behind you play through. Rebember that when you fall out of position, it is your responsibility to catch up as soon as possible.
1. Suspend honors. (Play ready golf)
2. Utilize the continuous putting rule where practical.
3. Continue on to the next tee quickly.
Note: Please review Sahalee's "Pace of Play" Guidelines for additional information.

GOLF CARS & HAND CARTS
Sahalee's standards regarding all types of Golf Cars and Carts are as follows:
1. Cars and Carts of all kinds shall be kept off all tees and greens.
2. No cars and carts are allowed within 10 yards of any green.
3. No cars and carts are allowed between the bunkers/hazards and greens.
4. Paths provided for golf cars must be used at all times unless the "90 Degree Rule" is in effect.
The "90 Degree Rule," when in effect, allows for golf cars to be driven off the path directly across (90-degrees) from your golf ball, driven directly to your ball and then directly back to the path. On all Par 3 holes, golf cars must remain on the path.
