Amateur - Sahalee annually hosts the Sahalee Players Championship for top men amateurs and the Edean Ihlanfeldt Tournament for college women's teams. Sahalee Country Club has the privilege of hosting the 31st U.S. Senior Open Championship July 26-August 1, 2010.

The U.S. Senior Open is THE major on the senior tour and will attract distinguished players such as Seattle born Fred Couples, Nick Price, Tom Watson, Peter Jacobsen, Mark O’Meara and many more.

The Championship, conducted by the United States Golf Association (USGA), comes to Seattle for the first time and expects to draw more than 150,000 spectators, 500 worldwide media and 3,000+ volunteers resulting in a $30 million local economic impact. The coverage will be broadcast to more than 50 countries including 15 hours of live coverage on ESPN and NBC Sports.
